I have faced challenges, including once losing the entire site and starting from near scratch, which was quite precarious.

This wasn't my original plan in life. I had all intentions of flying by the seat of my pants, living the good life, but reality hit, and my "high" life came crashing down, much like the experiences many face with ESRD and CKD and dialysis.
So what did I do? I picked myself up, dusted off the confusion and initial despair, and created a new life! The original blog, followed by this website, became my saving grace. They were the result of my kidney dialysis social worker suggesting I make a National Kidney Registry Microsite for myself, opening up a whole new set of doors.
I began to explore the overwhelming world of resources related to kidney health and wellness. It has been a great experience so far, even with all the bumps along the road. I embrace this as a chance to evolve, much like the evolution of music, and it allows me to keep my brain engaged. Even at 62 years old, I can find new therapy methods and knowledge to learn.
